Who we are
Da Noi hosts house music nights in Denver, Colorado. Questions about this policy, or about information we hold, go to ciao@danoi.live.
What we collect
Only what you send us, and what your browser shows any website.
- When you buy a ticket: your name, email address and phone number, the night and the tickets you chose, and what you paid. Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider; we never see or store them.
- When you write to us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address and message.
- When you open an event page we count the view, with the page that sent you there and your browser type, so we know how a night is being found. That count is ours and names nobody.
Our hosting provider records ordinary server information for every visitor, including an IP address, the pages requested and the browser used. This is kept briefly and used to keep the site running and secure.
How the site is used
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are and what device they use, how they found us, and whether they sent an enquiry or tapped our phone number or email address. Google gives us this as totals and trends. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used: where people click, how far they scroll, and replays of visits, so we can find what is confusing or hard to use. Clarity hides anything you type into our forms, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Both run only as far as your cookie choice allows (see Cookies below). Neither runs on your order confirmation page. When a purchase completes, and only if you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives the amount and nothing else: no name, no email, no ticket.
Vercel, our website host, also counts visits for every visitor with Vercel Web Analytics: the page, the referring site, the country, the device and the browser. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and the request hash it uses to tell visits apart is discarded after 24 hours. That is why it does not wait for a cookie choice.
Sentry tells us when something on the site breaks. When a page fails on our servers, a report goes to Sentry (stored in the EU) with what went wrong, but never what you typed into a form or at checkout, your cookies or your IP address. With the same choice as Google Analytics, errors that happen in your browser are reported the same way. Sentry sets no cookies.
Google, Microsoft and Vercel are US companies. Information they receive from visitors in Europe is transferred under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
Where you are decides where we start. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing beyond the cookie that remembers your choice is set until you say yes. Everywhere else Google Analytics runs until you choose Reject all, and Microsoft Clarity only after you accept. Wherever you are, you can change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; saying no deletes the analytics cookies.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a no in every region: nothing loads and the banner does not ask.
We set no advertising cookies, and we do not allow Google or Microsoft to use this information for advertising.
- paws_consent, set by this site: remembers your cookie choice. Lasts 12 months. Strictly necessary, so it needs no consent.
- _ga and _ga_ followed by a code, set by Google Analytics: tell one visitor from another and keep the state of a visit. Last up to two years (browsers cap them at 400 days). In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland only after a yes to analytics; elsewhere until you reject them.
- _clck, set by Microsoft Clarity: keeps a pseudonymous Clarity user id. Lasts up to a year. Only after a yes to recordings.
- _clsk, set by Microsoft Clarity: joins page views into one recording. Lasts one day. Only after a yes to recordings.
- MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR and SM, set by Microsoft on clarity.ms and bing.com: Microsoft's own identifiers. Set by Microsoft, only after a yes to recordings.
The site also notes in your browser that you have seen the opening animation, so it does not play on every page. That note is cleared when you close the tab and never reaches us.
What we use it for
Selling you tickets and getting you in the door, answering your messages, and telling you about the night you bought for. We do not sell your information to anybody.
Who else sees it
- Stripe, which takes payment.
- Vercel, our website host, and Supabase, our database provider, which run the site and store orders.
- Resend, our email provider, which sends your tickets and our replies.
- Google and Microsoft, which provide the analytics described above, as far as your cookie choice allows.
- Sentry, which tells us when a page on this site breaks.
- The venue's door team, who see your name and ticket at check-in.
We may also share information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Orders are kept as long as our tax and accounting obligations require. Messages are kept only as long as we need them to answer you.
Your rights
Colorado law gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Write to ciao@danoi.live. You will not be treated differently for asking.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update it here and change the date at the top.
